Bro. Jason Lohorns Bio.
My primary role is that of husband to Nikki and father of Paige, Ally and Hannah. I am also the Pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Liberty, Tn. I spent 13 years in the automotive industry working for dealerships such as Beaman Pontiac, Cumberland Toyota and Edd Rogers Automotive, all in Middle Tennessee. While on a career path to upper management the Lord intervened and called me to preach. In the process He changed my life, my focus and my direction. I preached my first sermon in April of 1999, became pastor of my first church (Rocky Valley Baptist Church, Lebanon Tn.) in 2000 and have been attempting to follow the Lord ever since.
As a young boy I grew up attending Indian Creek Baptist Church in Smithville Tn. It was through this churches ministry that I was saved and baptized. The one pastor that I remember the most was Bro. Oscar Trainer who helped lead me to Christ. In 1990 I married the former Nikki Pack and would later become a member of her home church Calvary Baptist Church also in Smithville. These two churches have played important roles in my spiritual life. I am indebted to them for their efforts to help me grow in the Lord.
Over the last 20+ years God has given me the privilege of serving a number of churches in Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky. God has sent me into these churches to Pastor, Preach & Lead....some of my pastorates have been longer than others, but God has been ordering our steps from the very beginning.

I have been blessed to be part of different organizations over the years such as Habitat For Humanity DeKalb County, Five Baptist Associations, Smith County Ministerial Alliance and The Emmanuel House. While living in Smith County Tn. I was the chaplain for the Gordonsville High School football team and basketball teams. I served as the moderator for the Ohio Valley Baptist Association and served on the Mission Council for the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio (SCBO).
